This website is maintained by the Lohit Youth Library Network, Tezu, Arunachal Pradesh, India. It showcases the network's literacy programmes, creative writing initiatives, newsletters, press coverage, annual reports, gallery, and volunteer activities across Arunachal Pradesh.

2. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

This website does not require registration or login. We do not collect personal data from visitors such as names, email addresses, or browsing behaviour, unless you contact us directly via email or phone.

The website displays:

• Photographs taken at library events, programmes, and community activities (which may include images of children, volunteers, visitors, and community members).
• Newsletters, articles, press clips, and annual reports.

3. PHOTOGRAPHS OF CHILDREN

Many of our programmes such as storytelling sessions, reading events, book exhibitions, school visits, and outreach activities, involve children as participants. We take the privacy and safety of children seriously.

• Photographs of children were taken during library events with the knowledge of attending parents, guardians, or school authorities.
• We do not publish children's full names alongside their photographs.
• We do not use children's photographs for any commercial purpose.
• If you are a parent or guardian and wish to have your child's photograph removed, please contact us at lohit.libraries@gmail.com We will remove it promptly, no questions asked.

4. HOW PHOTOGRAPHS ARE USED

All photographs on this website are used solely for:

• Showcasing the activities and impact of the Lohit Youth Library Network.
• Educational and cultural preservation purposes.
• Sharing updates with volunteers, supporters, and the wider community.

Photographs are not sold, licensed, or shared with third parties for commercial use.

5. CONSENT AND REMOVAL REQUESTS

• Photographs were taken at public community and library events.
• If you appear in a photograph (or your child does) and would like it removed, contact us at lohit.libraries@gmail.com with a description of the photograph or a link to the page. We aim to process removal requests within 7 working days.

6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

This website uses Google Fonts (Roboto and Playfair Display) to enhance typography. These fonts are served via Google’s content delivery network. We do not use analytics tools or tracking cookies.

7. APPLICABLE LAW

This policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023, which provides specific protections for the personal data of children under 18 years of age.
